Yes, I've been a big fan of George too, and I love Story Club. I leave comments as often as I can, but I always read his newsletter on the art of crafting stories and learn so much. In fact that's how I got involved with Substack and decided to start my own stack.
The Psmalmist says, "... the world is built on kindness..."
Before the beginning, there was only God. God is a טוב ומטיב, good that does good. He was alone and wanted only to give of His goodness. Yet He was alone. So He created the universe so He would have recipients to give of His goodness.
That is the purpose of creation. To be Godly, man must give. Man must learn kindness.
Very nice piece! I have become a big fan of George as a member of Story Club, where I see you as well from time to time.
Thanks for sharing the poem.

A fairly simple charge. Or so it would seem.
Yes, I would agree with that. Our purpose is to express that love and partake of it, and finally to become it. "Mostly love now."
I'm so glad you enjoyed this. I thought it was well worth sharing.
