Thanks, Daniel. That could work, except I was more exhilarated than afraid. And I wanted to show somehow how I felt like I was part of it all, how we all are part of that wildness. That's where the mirror came in, like I was staring at a part of myself.

Absolutely! Which is why I wanted to capture it in poetry. In a way, I can tap into that again each time I read and remember.
