Love your description of life growing more mysterious, Deborah! It's so true!! Delightful way to celebrate the writer-reader relationship!

THIS: β€œIn light of our coming demise, nothing at all matters in the long run.” I cannot tell you how this revelation, fairly recent to me, has revolutionized my life! Thank you for naming it.

I'm so happy for you, Melanie. It has changed my life too. Just these little shifts in perception often do. But somehow they are hard to come by.

The colors in your painting say it all, Deborah. Mysterious how that works. No need for words. πŸ’›

Aw, I love that, Viktoria. Thank you so much!

I've always believed in the mystical union between writer and reader. It's one of the things that makes live worth living, whether I'm in my author self or reader self.

I'm not surprised to hear that, Liz. I hope you got my DM about your book review. If not, let me tell you now how grateful and pleased I am. So beautifully written!

Yes, I did get your DM, Deborah. I responded to it earlier today. I’m glad you’re pleased with my review!

The image and the text work well together β€” two zones that are separate but continuous. Your meditation on the writer-reader connection touches something true.

Thank you, Birgit. I'm glad you think so. I was looking for an image to fit the topic on Pinterest, and then I remembered this painting and realized how it could fit. It's always fun to share my own artwork when I can. I miss painting.
